In the Fall of 2009 Lob acquired studio time at KDVS Radio in Davis,CA and took a group of players into the studio to record as Instagon. What was planned for a session to produce ONE album actually evolved and the recordings produced enough material for 2 full albums (Sleepwalking & Thee Speed ov Infection) and one EP release as well (Echophobic ep) it was an 8 hour session of live recordings featuring some great musicians. This was Instagon session #520.

During this session though.. there were other songs and things we played there were NOT used for any of the other releases.. cover songs used as band calisthenics,..warming up .. and a few other jams that were outtakes.. or just not something that was originally thought worthy of release. ..until now. Octopi(e) Records asked us if we had something that had been “Consigned to Oblivion” ..tracks that were recorded but not planned for use.. out takes.. throw offs.. and well.. this batch of recordings came to mind right away.. and so . Here we present the FOURTH and FINAL release of material from the infamous Instagon session #520 from November 21, 2009.. Thee Leftovers... Consigned To Oblivion.
